Pitching Clinic

Twin Center minor baseball is hosting our 3rd annual fast pitch pitching clinic to be held on Saturday May 9, 2015 at St. Clements ball diamond #1. Our goal is to have an outdoor clinic on diamond #1 but if weather does not allow us to be on the diamond we will move into the arena.

If you have a young pitcher that is looking to become better, or simply have a ball player interested in learning how to pitch, this clinic will offer the basics of windmill pitching focusing on mechanics and strength as well as proper technique.

Our head instructor will be Nic Goetz who pitches for the Wellington Sox. Nic has 28 years’ of pitching experience. Nic played his minor ball in Milverton, has won a gold and silver medals at the Jr. Canadians, has won 2 ISC II World Championship. Nic has pitched at the ISC II World Tournament 5 times and the ISC World Tournament for the past 5 years. Nic was recently awarded the South Perth Men Fastball League tournament pitcher of the year. Joining Nic will be Fred Follings. Fred Follings has 26 years of pitching experience and plays for the Shakespeare Falcons. Fred has played in 2 Jr. Canadian Championships, 5 ISC World Tournaments and 5 ISC II World Tournaments. In 2011 & 2013 Fred was named the South Perth Men’s Fastball League pitcher of the year.
